Hey guys, I put the wrong reading notes in the mini-daily bible journal that went out across the weekend. So here are some notes to help you prep for this weekend.
The series is GOD’S BIG PICTURE. We are tracing the storyline of the Bible and checking out what God’s Kingdom is at different points throughout. God’s Kingdom is: God’s People; in God’s Place; under God’s Rule + Blessing.
HERE IS THE SUMMARY OF LAST WEEK: The PATTERN of the Kingdom.
In the Garden of Eden we see the world as God designed it to be. God’s people, Adam and Eve, live in God’s place, the garden, under his rule as they submit to his word. And to be under God’s rule in the Bible is always to enjoy his blessing; it is the best way to live. God’s original creation shows us a model of his kingdom as it was meant to be.
